The Horse Personal Assistant serves as the trusted partner to one of our easy natured horses. The horses are hand selected and trained by the Executive Director. The Horse Personal Assistant represents the backbone of the program we are building at Inspiration Stables to serve individuals of all abilities, experience, and means by creating a bond that is everlasting.

The Child Mentor serves as the responsible adult supporting the needs of a one particular child. The Child Mentor gets to know the participant and makes a connection forging a bond that makes everyone feel secure and safe. This position allows the parents to sit and enjoy the lesson from afar. The Child Mentor represents the community we are building at Inspiration Stables for children of all needs and means, families and other members of our beautiful Jackson County community

Our Lesson Assistants help keep our program moving. The Lesson Assistant works side by side with the lesson Instructor to prepare our facility. The safety and comfort of our participants is of the upmost importance and our Lesson Assistants are a reflection of just that. This position allows volunteers with less experience to learn alongside professionals and gain valuable knowledge. 

Clean paddocks, water troughs, feed buckets. Groom and bathe horses. Clean and condition tack, grooming brushes. General cleaning and organizing projects. No experience required.
